EPW - Colibri, Swiss, erotic photo display watch, 51mm, blued gunmetal OF original case with glazed rear aperture revealing array of three explicit photos on rotating silvered disk that cycles on a one-minute interval, case rear marked with Swiss patent number 24340, white enamel dial, fancy gilt Louis XV style hands, SW-SS, not disassembled for mvt inspection but likely a nickel mvt with cylinder escapement. Explicit erotic watches of this type are extremely uncommon.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good rotating erotic disk function, rotating rear disk in excellent cosmetic condition not disassembled to inspect mvt cosmetic condition, mvt with a bit of rattle within case; nearly flawless dial with some small edge flaking at 1:30; excellent hands, hour a bit darker tone; case shows little wear, some fine scratches, no dents or dings, bluing largely intact with some areas of loss (the largest at right perimeter of rear) and some areas of oxide; tight brass bow, crown shows very little wear; clean plastic crystals.
